![]() The game can be played on a physical deck of cards or on a computer or mobile device, with many different variations available. Despite its difficulty, the game is very popular among solitaire fans, who enjoy the challenge and the satisfaction of successfully completing the game. It requires a great deal of strategy and patience, as well as a good memory, as players must remember where certain cards have been placed in order to make the best moves. Spider Solitaire is known for its high level of difficulty, as players must carefully plan their moves in order to complete the game. The remaining cards form the stock pile, which can be used to fill empty tableau piles. The game starts with ten tableau piles, with the first four having six cards each and the remaining six having five cards each, all arranged in a specific pattern. The goal of the game is to move all the cards to eight foundation piles, four of which are based on suit and in ascending order (Ace to King) and the other four are based on suit and in descending order (King to Ace). Spider Solitaire is a popular single player card game that is played with two decks of cards (104 cards total). A full descending suit pack must be made on the tableau, and then that pack will move to the first empty foundation pile. Cards cannot be moved to foundation piles directly.Ten foundation piles that must be filled by full descending suits. For example, a 9 8 7 pack may move to a pile with 10, as long as they are all the same suit. Only packs of cards that are of the same suit can be moved as a set. Packs of cards can also be moved between piles if they continue a descending order from the fully visible face up card on the pile they are moving to.For example, a 9 can be placed on top of a pile that has a 10 card face up. Cards can be moved between piles if they are one rank lower than the fully visible face up card on the pile they are moving to.The next six piles start with five cards. There is only one full pass through the stock. Can only be dealt if all piles in tableau have cards in them. The game is won once all cards are in the foundation. Once a full sequence of ranks with the same suit is built, it automatically moves to the foundation (cards cannot be placed on the foundation individually). Sort cards on the tableau so they are in descending order, from King to Ace. ![]() ^ "British single certifications – Stevie Wonder – Happy Birthday".^ "Gold-/Platin-Datenbank (Stevie Wonder 'Happy Birthday ')" (in German).^ "Stevie Wonder Chart History (Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs)".World singles charts and sales TOP 50 in 58 countries. ![]() A regulator flowmeter delivers the gas at a fixed pressure to a variable orifice (valve), and a flowgauge uses variable pressure to deliver the gas to a fixed (drilled) orifice. ![]() While both are designed to regulate pressure and measure gas flow, they operate quite differently. The two main flow control devices are regulator flowmeters and flowgauge regulators. The ability to tell whether you’re producing a flowing condition.Should an inspector on a shipbuilding or military job see a flowmeter that is out of the recommended flow specification, the job can automatically fail inspection.Ĭhoosing between a flowmeter and a flowgauge depends on the type of work being done.įour considerations to keep in mind when choosing between a flowmeter and a flowgauge are: Some welders are tempted to increase gas flow if they are in windy conditions, believing they are providing better shielding, but doing so can immediately put a job out of specification. Using a regulator flowmeter or flowgauge regulator is essential for welding because it’s necessary to know the cubic feet per hour or litres per minute a gas is flowing to provide adequate shielding of the weld metal deposit, bead shape, and penetration and to properly align with your welding parameters. Regulator Flowmeter and Flowgauge Regulator Differences This offers employees a visual cue that’s easy to follow. It is also possible to find colour-coded adjusting knobs to ensure the correct regulator is selected for the specific gas or variant it is intended to be used with. Pressure gauges also have been designed to be easier to use for less experienced welders by colour-coding pressure levels to explain rule-of-thumb levels for cutting, heating, and welding. Some are designed to protect valves and gauges from potential damage should a cylinder be knocked over or in some other way interfered with. ![]() Regulators can seem like straightforward devices, but engineering developments have made recent iterations much more rugged than their predecessors. Some of these are the application or service function, total cost of ownership (TCO), source of supply (cylinder, pipeline), safety, and durability. There are several factors to consider when selecting a regulator. The reduction in pressure sets the gas at a usable pressure level for cutting, heating, and welding/brazing or flow rate for gas shielding in welding applications.Ī regulator is the ideal tool if you are using a gas for cutting and heating because pressure and volumetric flow exiting the orifice at the cutting or heating tip is what is most important in this scenario. Common modern regulators are either single or two stage and have pressure gauges (two or one) that measure the pressure from the source of supply and delivery pressure, or flow rate. They are produced with different capacities for pressure and volumetric flow, depending on the application and source of supply. Regulators are adjustable pressure reducers designed to operate automatically after an initial setting. This article discusses which device is best for what kind of job.Ī regulator essentially does one thing: It allows you to regulate the output pressure of the gas you’re using from the cylinder or pipeline. When managing your gases for cutting and welding or shielding, it’s important to know which type to use for the job: a regulator, a regulator flowmeter, or a flowgauge regulator. The size differences between the gauges especially helps with oxyfuel processes, in which the more critical delivery pressure gauge is larger and the cylinder pressure gauge is smaller. ![]() Next-generation regulators communicate information using colour-coding and graphics. ![]() Your first uses may result in some needed adjustments and tweaks.Proximity to your dealership determines the ease of follow up on questions that may arise. What I don't understand is, what is the recipient of the individual processed tracks doing with them? OR if at all possible, try to find working partners who use Logic (or ask your current working partner to use Logic) whenever possible, which would greatly simplify the entire workflow. You'll then be able to easily export individually processed tracks, and at least on the other hand when the recipient sums the tracks in their DAW they will get the exact same sound you're getting in Logic. You can always group the automation of effects if needed. If that's going to be your workflow, then perhaps consider putting the effects on the individual tracks rather than bussing the tracks to an Aux. ![]() Or maybe because you've sent both raw and processed exports, they can pick and choose which they'll keep and which they'll re-process? So what are they doing? Creative choices? Editing? Volume balance and EQing? I'm in unfamiliar territory so I confess that I wouldn't really know how to work with individually processed tracks. If they try compressing a track that has an automated low-pass filter on them, that's going to be quite challenging, or the compression won't sound the same throughout the whole track? If you apply reverb to a track that already has a stutter effect applied, the reverb will sustain in between the stuttered parts? If you apply compression, each individual slice will trigger the attack and release phase of the compressor? What I don't understand is, what is the recipient of the individual processed tracks doing with them? I suppose their choices are now limited. But now that you explain it I can understand better. Ok thanks for the example, that makes more sense, and indeed you're not the only one facing this issue, I've see this question asked many times, I've just never experienced the need for me or anyone else around me to do it in real life, most likely simply because we don't work with the same music genre. Hard to believe I am the only person facing this issue The individual tracks have to be as close to your mix as possible when being sent out, period. A low-pass filter is fairly easy to replicate, yes, but what about glitch/stutter effects on the master? There is no way they can exactly replicate that and you don't even WANT to them to. ![]() Do you really want to send the individual tracks without the low pass filter and have the artist or their engineer spend hours on trying to replicate your automation effects? No, I would like to believe not. I often use a low pass filter on the master channel that I automate for certain parts, e.g. They want the individual tracks to sound identical to the mix that I did, or at least as close as possible so they can change the arrangement where needed in their own DAW. Sure, some want both dry AND wet but never only the dry versions. They don't want dry individual tracks, they want the effects to be printed on them. Maybe not for some, for me it's mandatory! I've been making music as a living for the past 10 years, with over 1000 clients that all asked for the stems (or individual tracks I should say). So sending individually processed tracks generally isn't needed ![]() The only time I've exported individual tracks are for when I need another producer to do further recording, editing or mixing, and in that case either I send the Logic project file or I send individual raw (unprocessed) tracks to a mixing engineer. So sending individually processed tracks generally isn't needed. If you're bussing a track to an Aux to be processed that's generally because you're using the Aux to process a submix of several tracks, and the processed submix isn't equal to the mix of individually processed tracks. Individual tracks on the other hand, normally don't need individual bus effects printed into individual bounce/exports. a mix may typically be composed of somewhere between 4 and 6 or 7 stems, that you can send to a client so they can easily adjust the balance of a mix (a little more percussion, a little less vocals.), and it's fairly easy to export individually processed submixes in Logic. Stems are not individual tracks, they are submixes of a group of instrumets: for example all drums, all vocals, all guitars, etc. Now, my clients want the stems (with the bus/send effects printed of course). ![]() if "cancel" button is clicked then // nothing will be done.
